16  Pat Stuff / Messages to other Patheads / More Pat on YouTube! on: December 10, 2007, 09:48:07 am
Pat's Thanksgiving show at the Beat Kitchen in Chicago, November 19, 2007 is now up on YouTube. Link to playlist: http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=61B7B32ED2DF7300

Here's the songs you'll find there:
Thanksgiving Intro
Can't Stop Messin'
The Song In Which I Break Each And Every One Of The 10 Commandments
Silly Old Man
Happy Ever After
Give Me Your Love
I Like Everything
You And I Are Just About To Fall In Love (with Adrienne)
Diamonds In Your Eyes
Right Wing Revolution
I'll Get Over You
Bank Teller
Fuckbuddy
I'd Pay To Have Sex With You

Sex And Beer

If you want to have these songs on your video iPod, you can download them (and other Pat shows I've taped) here: https://mywebspace.wisc.edu/dddombrowski/web/Pat.htm
Right-click and Save As... please.

And if you still want more, I can send you a DVD of the entire show, just send and email with your address to me at avman1023@yahoo.com
The DVD contains the entire show, beginning to end, including between song chatting, and a few songs that didn't make it to YouTube. The DVD also looks much better, YouTube makes it pretty dark.

Adrienne talked me into coming down to this show, promising that she and Pat were going to sing "something special". And they sure did! For everyone who missed it, I videotaped it and will be posting it on YouTube sometime in the near future.

Tim, I don't recall meeting you either! Where were you sitting?

Yeah, it's pretty cool that they imbedded my video into their article.

I took down the iPod versions of the songs, so the link above won't work anymore.  But Pat fans can email me if you want copies of this show.

All these songs are available for download here: https://mywebspace.wisc.edu/dddombrowski/web/Pat.htm

They're all 320X260 .mp4 files,  designed for iPods.

Please right click and "Save As" for each song.

I'll leave these up for a couple of weeks.

I can put this on a DVD. If you want one, please email me at avman1023@yahoo.com. Would anyone like download-able versions of the songs for their video ipods?

I'll be doing both, uploading on YouTube and making a DVD. I'll post something when I'm done.

The Isthmus, Madison's weekly alternative paper, had a nice little profile of Pat in today's paper.  The origins of Pat's incredible guitar playing skills- revealed!

So Bernie Doll plays with Pat in MSP. Wow. I had no idea something so cool was occuring! So that's why the MSP shows seem to create so much buzz. Or maybe it's just Temiken.

I've gotta get up there and see this for myself now!

Karlee, thanks for the video. That song is even more awesome-er with drums. DRUMS??? Does Pat always have percussion at O'Gara's? I haven't seen Pat live with a drummer in, um, ever?
28  Pat Stuff / Messages to other Patheads / Pat and Lollapalooza??? on: February 15, 2007, 09:18:25 am
I got an email today inviting me to list bands I want to see at Lollapalooza in Chicago this summer. Of course, I said that I want to see Pat! If there's any other Pat fans who want to see Pat at Lolla this year, here's the link: http://www.lollapalooza.com/yourlolla/.

It also asks for Chicago eateries you want on the Lolla grounds. The last 2 years, the food choices were pretty bad, just standard festival food. Except for the Chicken On A Stick at the Asian place. That was pretty good.

Is there any way to import these into my itunes or is that simply a no go?
Um, I guess YouTube doesn't allow download, just streaming. But I agree, it would be great to be able to put them on your ipod. I rendered the videos in a resolution designed for ipods.  Let me look into finding somewhere to host these videos for download. Mark, Greg, any suggestions? Can the mighty Pat website server handle video downloads? Or is there a free server out there, like photobucket or something?

Too bad you can't use both the whole time.
Since then, I got a shotgun mic that will allow me to do that. So for future shows I tape, I'll be able to mix the board feed and crowd noise. My dream is to get a 2nd camera and shoot a show with both cameras.  Someday....
