1  Pat Stuff / Suggestions for the website / Downloading music?? on: February 02, 2001, 12:09:00 pm
I have been trying to download some music from the song list, but have been yet unsuccessful.  I don't know if it's a problem with my system or what, but I have tried on many separate days with no response.  If anyone has the answer, please get back to me..

I don't think people realize just how much Pat's music is influenced by the Beatles.  He just disguises it so well with his 'one of a kind' style.  I heard somewhere that Pat was bigger than Jesus...anyone else?

I must say, it sucks driving three hours from Minneapolis, paying $90 for a hotel room, taking a cab up the biggest hill of all time, and then finding out that Pat was not playing.  We made up for it by getting really really drunk.  Jason

ps.  I would have beat you to the set list posting

Yeah, sorry about that.  I jumped the gun a little bit on Sex and Beer.  I had just a little too much to drink, and was pretty embarassed about that.  So apologies go out to Pat and all.  Luckily I didn't do anything too stupid.

Oops!!  I accidentally added a blank set list the first time.  Can you delete that one?? Thanks.

I must agree that this was one of the better shows that I have seen in the last seven years (it's probably because my mom was there), right up to the point where my brand new car was destroyed right outside of Shank. ?No, I wasn't driving!. ?

I have now posted the setlists for the last two shows that I have been to, although the Fine Line set list may be a little out of order due to the fact that my handwriting that night was illegible.

It was interesting to see who some of you were for the first time, and don't worry, I was drunk at Shank and will be drunk in the future as well. ?And no, I wasn't being a good boy for my mom. ?She was drunk too! ?And ?she's looking forward to getting drunk next time. ?Isn't that really what it's all about? ?Drinking massive amounts of liquor, listening to European Fuck Music, and having a great time!!

I think I realized that when I had to watch Pat sober the next day with a bunch of 18 year old losers (at my sister's birthday party) who were too cool to laugh or stand up. ?Anyways, that's all I've got. ?See you at the Fine line in the middle of March. ?Actually, you'll see me, and I'll see three of you. ?

Sorry Sara, I must have forgotten to give you the pen back.  I'll give it too you on the 6th.  In the mean time, I'll try to get Temiken to stop using it as a sex toy.

As far as the review.......here goes.

Show good.  Me happy.

Crayons??  Is that a shot at me??  (heehee)

Anyways, it probably was me laying on the sidewalk.  Me and Tom decided it was time to play WWF outside.  I got in one really good and unexpexted clothes-line.

Once again the show was fun and a drunken mess.  But then again I don't think people would know what to do if we were sober.  It would be weird.

See you all on the 11th.  I'll bring a box of Sharpies for all to share.

Saw my first show in Chicago this weekened (extended weekend that is).  It was a very fun time.  Pat played a good variety of music, mostly requests.  I will be back in Chicago on the 2nd.  Hope to see some of you there.

Jason

ps Set list is soon to come.
pps Temiken.  Where is the set list for the Minneapolis show?
11  Pat Stuff / Review a Show / Re: Sprecher Fest on: September 04, 2002, 07:29:56 am
Chiming in late......Sprecherfest was a very good show.  Pat seemed to gain energy as the show went on.  He did a very good job of trying to sing everyone's requests as well, but unfortunately he wasn't going to play a 5 hour show.

It's always good to see some of you.  Others I seem to get dirty looks from Angry.  Aparently I choose the wrong places to sit.(j/k).

Anyhoo.... I will see you all in Minneapolis on the 14th and the 21st.  Until then....

I guess you are right Temiken, we will be drunk by 3:00, and now that it's been mentioned, you do kind of look like Eminem.  You're just a little fatter than he is.  You're kind of a cross between Marshall Mathers and Biggie Smalls (before he was a rotting corpse, of course)

This was a very fun show in my opinion. ?Pat really changed it up from his usual show up here, and it was very enjoyable. ?

I started writing a set list, but as usual the craziness of the crowd and the looming intoxication hindered it's completion.

We are all looking forward to seeing Pat again on Saturday. ?I usually have to take a roadtrip to see Pat more than once in a month.

See you Saturday. ?We'll be drunk by 4:00pm!!!

14  Pat Stuff / Review a Show / Re: Chilifest on: September 24, 2002, 01:10:04 pm
Chilifest was definitely one of the funnest shows I've been to.  Besides good music, and beer, you had some really bad chili to eat, and you got to pay three dollars for a two ounce bowl of it.

Regardless of the price, I love those cheesy little festivals, and I think they are the best places to see Pat play.  The show was phenomenal, in my mind.  Pat played a lot of the usuals, and changed it up with a couple of unexpected tunes...ie Fifteen Empty Glasses, I.H.A.T.E.Y.O.U., and Gamblin' Man...amongst others.

At the biginning there were about 6 people listening to the show, but by the end Pat had hundreds dancing and singing.  It was a great time.  I only wish there was more than one Chilifest a year...but what can you do.

The show was great......is what I'll be saying in my mid-afternoon drunken stuper (spell check) tommorow at Chilifest.

I mean c'mon.......what's better than a nice fall day, drinking beer, eating chili and listening to Pat.  Not much my friends.  I will see a few of you tommorow, and don't bring any of that Bicardi shit.  Thanks
