Do you know where Eau Claire is?
It's about a half-hour to an hour north of there.

Yup. It's 60 miles north of Eau Claire and home to booming metropolises such as Ladysmith, Hawkins, Bruce, Weyerhauser--you know, places you've never heard of. The total population of the county is 15,347...14,992 of which are white, and a large percentage of which are related somehow (though I can't say I have any statistics on that). Is this painting a picture yet? For those who want a bit of insight into growing up in such a place, look here: http://www.fossonline.com/wi/smalltown.htmSadly, many of these hold true for me. But not giving directions using "the" stoplight, because, of course, we don't have one. Anyway, sorry to get off the subject...

Hoover, i was extremely impressed with your review of the show Thank you Erin at the risk of sounding like an idiot Too late Andy Our motto: "There's not a stoplight in the entire county!" Now, I would think that would make for awsome stories! Everyone blowing through intersections, mass chaos in the streets, sign me up! something to make us stand out... Instead of being different "sections" like at the RSR, why don't we all conglomerate into one giant Pathead party in the front? Pat would probably get a kick out of that, and we would defiantly stand out as the huge, loud, obnoxious, Pathead section that knows all the words and actions to his songs. It would be easier to save tables too if we work together instead of fighting each other for them Friday afternoon.

I like that idea. I'm still in the reaquainting myself/meeting new Patheads since I've been gone stage, and that would be a great chance. Of course, then the nametags come back into play. I'll start off the introductions early - I'm Cara, I'm the blonde one with or without glasses (depending on the day) who goes up and sings and dances. Gee, that should narrow it down. And you are...? I'll have to rely on the kindness of everyone if I want to even have a glimmering little faint hope of a dream of getting a seat. I have to work on Friday (boo!) and I wouldn't be there nearly in time to snag one for myself. I've never been to a Pat show on the Terrace, let alone spent a summer in Madison, so it would be a new one for me. I think we could definitely make ourselves stand out with the security we'll need to keep our seats from getting taken. It's hard enough at the RSR, so I'd think the Terrace would be a tad more difficult. I wonder if Per-Mar could come on by in their swanky yellow coats.

hmm, look at all the fun and excitement that happened during my up nort der hey hiatus --on vacation, with mom and dad--in Ashland County, that's gotta be even more backwoods than Rusk County... well, after THREE whole weeks of being MIA at the RSR, I'll be back, at least for now (is that long enough to classify it as a Paul-style triumphant return??, hehe) I have to work Friday but if I work a little more the other days I'll be able to get off early and get good seats. I know a few ppl who are going around nooner (we LOOOVVVEEE you guys, ) time to help mom tie up tomato plants, yay...

How the hell are we going to find each other? Shouldn't we have Preferred Seating?

I also like the idea of everyone joining in a big Madison Pathead group in the front... just as long as everyone remembers who the madison patheads are and will let us all have seats! I'm also looking forward to the show, as i haven't been to a show at the terrace yet either. And unfortunately, I also have to work for a while, so i'm hoping i will have people who love me save me a seat! :-P

There's a lot of us who have to work on friday I might have to call in sick to work in order to get a good seat. The sacrifices we make.

i will be up in kohler watching the PGA golf championship (to learn to play like tiger) all day friday but i think thursday night frodo and his hobbit clan along with hoover and myself can sneak onto the terrace and rope off the entire front section and then as the diehards show up on friday they can take seats in that area and also act as security to keep out fake patheads. this would be more believable if we all wore the same colored clothing.

That would be fabulous! Is that even allowed? I hope so...
Same colored clothing, eh? That doesn't leave much room for artistic flair (not that I have any), but I'm willing to go with it. Or maybe we should have a password. Man, this is getting goofy. Tomorrow night might be a good night to coordinate some of this, since a good chunk of us will, hopefully, be at the RSR.

I think we should all just call in sick to work and then show up at noon on Friday and stake our claim. If enough of us Madison Patheads are there, we should be able to recognize all imposters!

Cool, it could be Patstock 2004. All of us in Tie Dye!!
To tell the truth, I am coming down with a cold, so calling in sick on Friday isn't too far out. I'm just afraid to run into my boss at the show. Wouldn't be surprised considering how many people they say show up at the terrace show.
