Well, never been to a terrace show yet. But I do know is the most crowded day at the terrace during the year (apparently is even worse than 4th of july weekend which is way too crowded). I would have guessed noon is too early, but given that everybody is planning on being there that early and that I'm used to front row spots, i'll probably will have to be there at noon.

I am sure most of the madison crowd (and some people from Chicago and Milwaukee) will be there so we should be able to meet a lot of people. If we get to recognize each other in the middle of the large crowd

No, not drunk.  Just an idiot.  I meant Life is a Buffet instead of Chinese Food.  I guess I was thinking Chinese Buffet when I typed the review.  And your right, the date of the show was 8/3, not 8/4.  This was my first review though, so I ask for a little slack

Hoover, i was extremely impressed with your review of the show.  I didn't know if it'd get up there at all without our trusty mauricio there to write it!  you did well!

and i'll for sure be there at the show on the 13th at the Terrace!  Since i know everyone's just dying to meet me, hahaha.  Mauricio, you better save your madison gals seats!

Make sure you get there early if you want a seat at the terrace.Madison police told me that there were over 5500 people there each of the last 2 years. They said Pat had bigger crowds than the July fireworks.

And Adam, I demand a rematch.

Do you really want to get destroyed three weeks in a row at darts?

How early is early?  For a 9 pm show, are we talking two hours?  Four hours?  Noon?  On the terrace with beer flowing freely, that may not be such a good thing for me... Wink

Hey, I beat you at 301.  I'm getting better and I give you a run for your money.

And Cara, I've heard that people are coming around noon.  I guess if you really want a good seat get there at 10am. Smiley

I suppose you could always have a rousing Thursday evening on the Terrace, stay there all night, take a quick jump in the lake to refresh yourself in the morning, and then start drinking and waiting again once they start selling.  On second thought...

Perhaps everyone should wear a "Hello, my name is..." sticker.  Smiley

Nametags are all right, but there's got to be something that would make the true Pat devotees stand out.  I'd suggest bring along some toast, but that could also be a bit Rocky Horror.

i'm seeing a huge tailgating-style party on the terrace: coolers full of beer, tons of grills cooking brats, burgers, chicken, etc. with people hanging out throwing footballs and frisbees all day while waiting for the show.  or playing cards too if that's your thing.  perhaps "storytime with mauricio" as he entertains us with stories about his native colombia.
frodo, hoover and i could tell stories about our native wausau but they might be slightly (read: hugely) boring.

Colombian stories are probably even more boring than Wausau stories.
The whole tailgatting thing is an excellent idea

Tailgating sounds fun!  I still like Cara's idea of something to make us stand out...that way, we can recognize each other and look strange to everyone else--that's always fun.  Smiley

Oh, and if you want to talk boring stories, how 'bout some from fabulous Rusk County, Wisconsin?  Our motto:  "There's not a stoplight in the entire county!"
