I'm pre-empting Mauricio to say that tonight's show was the funniest show I have ever seen, and I've been to over 40 shows this year.
Mauricio will fill you all in with the details, but if you missed it I feel sorry for you!

Holly crap, you're fast Andy.  Smiley
I just got back from the RSR. Less than one minute ago.
I have to agree with you. What a show  Smiley Smiley Smiley. There are four shows from this year that i've loved most than any other, and thought it can not get better than that. And this was one of those, the others first rsr saturday show, one in may, last week's

Pat was funnier than ever. He played very few songs cause he stopped in the middle to tell jokes, and go off the tangents, so every song took lot of time. But the songs that he played were awesome:

Started with Goofy town. Other songs of the first set: I'm an idiot, tiny people with enormous heads, life is a buffet, I'm not able to remember one of the best songs of the night: I remember he played something that I was surprised and happy to hear but don't know what it was. Nervous, and finished with hey paddy. We also had the triple dance challenge between Mark a physics student new guy on stage and the star of the show, frodo and trent: simply hilarous

Second set: I.H.A.T.E.Y.O.U, happiest man on earth, I think I'll join a cult, Imagine a picture: with Mark the physicist singing one song of country music by artist not normally associated with country music, he did some rap song, female dance challenge with six dancers. I only remember: Ayelet, Alicia, Missy, Nikky, .... our song of love with Chris, screw you with as many people as possible on stage after the last cut out for the dancing routine, and a packed stage for sex and beer.

Simply spectacular. The last two shows have been two of the best, let's see if it keeps getting better.

Going to bed now, tons of things to do tomorrow

Finally remembered the remaining song: wake up, go to work, get drunk, go to sleep. It was the second song of the first set Smiley

Did you bring your laptop with you or something Andy?  That was posted about 5 minutes after the show ended!  Regardless, this was one bizzaro show.  The running gag at our table was that we thought Pat was high, hence the inability to concentrate on the songs (he sang the "You don't drink or smoke" line of Life is a Buffet THREE TIMES!!)  I requested I Was High in honor of this, but he passed me by this week.  None the less, this was defiantly one for the memory books.

I almost died laughing at the dance off between the boys.  Trent, ya gotta get more than one move, and actually DO THEM! the whole time he was just sitting there drinking his drink, not even dancing.  well, entertainment anyways.

oh yes, and who's the new queen at darts?Huh all I have to say is--880 points in two games? you guys should be ASHAMED of yourselves for getting spanked that bad!! Smiley

(he sang the "You don't drink or smoke" line of Life is a Buffet THREE TIMES!!)
Was it only three times? I would swear about six.

There are so many things going through my head that I shouldn't be doing this show

Let me settle this.  We said BULL$HIT! four times in Life is a Buffet.  I counted.  And the 2nd song in the set was the Student Song - the one with all the class start times.  Then came Wake Up, Go To Work.

I thought it was a fabulous show.  It's been a looooong time since I've seen a show where Pat just goes off on some tangent, and forgets what he was even playing.  Pipe told me he was probably like that because he didn't have his usual creative outlet at the Beat Kitchen on Monday.  Hooray for us, then!

On a happy note, I did not require any band-aids last night (as opposed to the last show).  Only a slight knee bruise, thanks to Frodo.  Smiley

You're right cara he did the 7:45, 8:50, 9:55 11:00 , ...second. The thing is I normally don't include that in the reviews is just too short and never remember it, my bad.

Sean, sorry for mispelling Elicia's name. Glad you came, it was also very good to see you after so much time.

And last but not least, Happy birthday Adam. The start of the three birthdays in a row celebration

Sean, anytime you need stools just give me a ring.  It better be sooner than later.

Going out after the show was not good for my head the next day.  I think I was still drunk when I got to work.  Three hours of sleep is not long enough.  Well actually I did hit the snooze a few more times than I normally do.  But I survived, so this going out thing may become a regular occurrance again.  I miss working at 11am, no I don't.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Adam, I missed giving you your birthday spanking.  Too bad Smiley  A little late, but I did say it on Tuesday.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Greg II, if your doing anything tonight to celebrate, give us a call.

happy day after bday adam! and happy bday greg II!!

or as my grandma and her husband would say(sing)--

enjoy yourself, it's later than you think
enjoy yourself, while you're still in the pink
the years go by, as quickly as a wink
enjoy yourself, enjoy yourself, it's later than you think!

nothing quite as funny as hearing this sang to someone on their 90th birthday!!
