Some of we Patheads from extreme southern WI and northern IL will be headed up to Shank for this show, we were just curious about what time the doors open . . . Obviously we need to get there before that but we just wanted to plan accordingly so we could stop for some food before hand to get a good base.

Apparantly, no one's ever heard of "calling in sick" or "taking a personal day" Actually, I had thought of that; it's just that I only get one day a year where I don't have to tell anyone why I'm not going to be at work, and...brace yourself...I would actually feel guilty about taking a sick day when I'm not sick. I know, I know. Goody two-shoes.  However, given Chip's permission to take said sick day, and Miche's kind offer...I just might have to go for it. Miche, would there be room for me to just ride w/you from Madison on? |

I know that people will likely come early, but are we talking 'tents and hibachi grills" early or "pocket Schlitz and Chips Ahoy" early   Per the norm, I will be stocked with candies galore... requests? |

That's the real question. On the one hand it's good to be there early to get good spots; on the other hand, lines at shank are outside and it's supposded to be around 3 degrees that day, so you don't want to be there too early Does shank serve food?
no, but as far as i understand they let you bring in food from outside. It has no reentry policy, so once you're in you can not leave to get food |
