First, the semi-correct and almost complete set list:

Hello Young Lovers
The Likes of Me
Ruin My Life
Opposites Attract
Big Porno Hair
Small Town
How Did You Get So Dirty
F-U-C-K-I-N-G-S-T-U-P-I-D
Sports & Porn
My New Religion
Screw You
Hey, Patty

Camping With Lesbians
One More Song About Sex
some southerny-hillbillyish song I didn't know
a two-song tribute to Del Shannon
(Runaway and Let's Do It In Every Room of the House)
I Love Your...
Everyone's A Whore
New Clothes
Groovy Thing (w/dancers)
Jesus
I'd Pay to Have Sex With You
Sex & Beer

Lotsa sex themed songs tonight!  I will, however, leave the Sharkey's review and sex acts performed in the restrooms there to someone else, as I was not there, and it truly is not my story to tell.

A small but loyal crowd attended , including a handful of regulars, the empty table count kept increasing, though, prompting me to wonder "How the hell can anyone leave in the middle of a Pat show???"

Pat was in particularly fine voice and, I believe someone said here several days ago that he seems to be having more fun lately, I would agree with that.  Perhaps he has found ways to get rid of those everyday tensions that beset us all (well, new ways anyway).  Pipe Jim was a bit exhausted, we fans just run the poor boy ragged.

The show was an interesting mix of PGH (Pat's Greatest Hits), stuff you don't hear that often, and POTC (Pat Off The Cuff), which usually makes for an intriquing McSperience.

Sorry Erin & Mauricio couldn't make it, but you guys were there in spirit.  Shank Hall on Friday, anyone?

[

I was at the show last night at Club Paragon, it was great to hear the old/new songs the Pat performed, great job!
I happened to be one of the people who had to leave in "the midle of the show"  I did not expect the show to start at 8:30 (or so) and since this was my first big outing after back surgery, I could not make through the whole thing. I was ready at 8:00, but I know sometimes other things come up, so the show started late and I just could not sit in those hard chairs anymore.  This was not an act of offending Pat, but an act of having to do what I had to do.  I had a nice time and enjoyed myself and that is what counts, I don't want to worry about people watching when I leave.
I read this board often and this is my first time writing, it just amazes me how critical some people can be sometimes.
I also wanted to kid with Mark Lippert about his comment on the initial agreement page " epileptic baboon" I am a epileptic and hope I don't act like an epileptic baboon even when I have a seizure. hee hee...

Sounds like such a good show Smiley, too bad I couldn't go Cry. There's a new song (probably two) in there (FUCKING STUPID,  I love your ...  is the same as you can't believe how much I love you? if it's not then there are two new songs). all the things you miss when you don't go to Pat for a while, it has been a loooooong time since my last show. Wink

Now switching gears: "epileptic baboon" I'm afraid I'm missing something here Huh. I've tried searching for  previous posts containing the word epileptic, no matches othat than Stylor5's post. Who BTW reminded me of two posters that had not been seen for a while.  Anyhow what's Mark's comment?

She's referring to the registration agreement.  It's been changed since you signed up.

Stylor, sincerest appologies, I was not trying to dis anyone who left early (lots of Patheads I know, including myself, have left shows early for one reason or another), I just happened to turn around partway through the second set and there were six or eight empty tables that all had been occupied earlier.  And don't be paranoid, I certainly was not watching WHO left, my goodness, it was pure chance that I noticed anyone had left at all.  Had it not been for the mass exodus, I wouldn't have said a thing, but the crowd being literally halved during the show was unusual, and therefore part of the review.  I don't believe I EVER said or implied that the people who did leave offended Pat.  I was not being "critical"servant, and stating what I saw in a way I though was funny.  (It just amazes me how sensitive some people can be sometimes...just kidding!!!)  BTW, not long before the show ended, the fellow at the table next to mine said "boy, this place sure emptied out early tonight".  That's all there was to it, nothing more, okay?

You know, since you've been reading here for awhile, you know that there have often been times where writings have been misinterpreted.  It's hard to get the nuances and inflections the writer intended when you're reading something.  So, maybe, leave a little room for that when you read.  Please accept my appology, my comment was truly not intended the way you took it.

I am sorry you were uncomfortable (the chairs ARE hard!) and I hope your back heals quickly and completely.  And I'm glad you came and enjoyed as much of the show as you could.  Hopefully your health will allow you to stay longer next time!  Oh, and I guarantee Pat appreciates all his fans, no matter how long they stay.

Thanks!  Wink

Hey Broadway, no offense taken, but let me thank ou for being so kind in taking the time and effort to apologize, it means a lot to me!  As far as leaving, I just hate to do that to anyone, and did not want to offend anyone, especially Pat! One sad thing which you touched on a bit was the empty tables.  Remeber the days when there was standing room only at Club Paragon for Pat's shows, that saddens me, because he works hard and I feel that a standing room crowd says a lot to him on how we love his shows!  I will be back, perhaps this time with a big fluffy pillow to sit on  Cheesy  ha ha ha
Again thanks, and hope to meet you maybe in person sometime, I'll be the one gimping around with a cane...hee hee

Hey, Stylor, you are quite right.  Club Paragon crowds are definitely getting smaller.  It's still my favorite place to see Pat.  Sweetie, you tell me when you're coming, and I'LL bring the pillow! Cheesy

It is a deal broadway, extra soft pillows are the best! Ha Ha....
We will have to set it up, I agree Club Paragon is the best place to see him, I saw him at Riverfest last year, and that really made me realize how much I prefer Club Paragon.
Write soon, Take it easy.
