I wasn't asking for Pat's foe-page... I was wondering if AJ had a page. I talked to Pat last time he was at the Fine Line...in April. He did say that there are 2 MySpace pages with his name, but he had nothing to do woth either of them.

Hey Mark or Murf.... who runs that new MySpace webpage? What's the point when Pat already has this rockin' website with showtimes, chat boards, etc?

That'd be Greg (or at least he helped setting the whole thing up) What's the point when Pat already has this rockin' website with showtimes, chat boards, etc?
The only thing I can think of is maybe it's a way to reach to more people who otherwise would never know that Pat existed, but overall I tend to agree with you. I don't see one single thing that people can do in his myspace thingy that could not be done in this magnificent website

Because young whippersnappers these days need the Latest Hip Thing and MySpace is one way of connecting to them. Now when people ask if Pat has a MySpace page, we can say "Why yes, he does!" instead of the usual "No, he has a REAL web site, ya snot-nosed punk!" That frees up my time to go yell at kids to get off my lawn.
Of course, nothing lasts forever and MySpace is no exception. From what I understand, it's already waning in popularity, so we'll be keeping an eye out for the next Latest Hip Thing. As for this site, it was here long before MySpace and it will be here long after it's gone. In fact, it just celebrated its 11th birthday last Tuesday and you didn't give it a present. No cake for you!

The one thing it seems to do nicely is the Music pages let you schedule your upcoming shows. Now, it does this poorly when it comes to actually adding the information in, but it does then list all the entries by zip code in their events listings. So someone searching myspace for something to do will see the entries come up with the date, time, location, etc. There are more people on MySpace looking for things to do than there are who come here. Otherwise Mark's bandwidth bill would be much much higher. =P And as others have said, just because the information is here doesn't mean it can't still be spread elsewhere to get the word out... as it were. =P
