Hmm, so the top poster at "http:/www.fuckyou.com" gets to do the first review-FINE!

It was a great first set. I was blown away to have "Imagine A Picture" inturupted first, with a great comedy bit, then a great song! Way To go!

Now if the first set did not blow the lead out of those Gap pants, (after "Groovy Thing"), the second set must have. A medly of Mccurdy songs, not songs, but good songs! Ending With "Mobile Home" last verse.

Very Sweet! If you missed the show, (we know who Luke is) you definetly missed an A++++++++ show.

"Empty (nowhere) Man" was a treat! And by the way, Even with the Mics off, "Heatwave" was still played and sung superb! It was a night of great 60's cover tunes. Also Tough Life, Be That Way, and the rare "Oh Yes I Do" was preformed.

I could kick myself for not bringing the Cam-Corder as I had planned.

In my first posting about this show there is one metion that must be said;

We shall all miss Big Paul as he heads to Boston to "Res Judicata" their asses, and "duces tecum" Pat-isms to the Legal System there. We shall all miss you Paul! Hopefully you can teach them what it really means to be "Secretly Dainty" on the East Coast..

I could kick myself for not bringing the Cam-Corder as planned, but I did spot the Lippert table making Set List notes (yea, they are sick).

Or they could have been doing work completely unrelated to the show.  Which is the true answer?  The world may never know.

Remember, when you assume....

Excessive ellipses.  Three will do.

Was a great first set.
Sentence fragment.

"interrupted" spelled incorrectly.

Quote
Way To go!
"To" should not be capitalized.

Quote
Now if the first set did not blow the lead out of those Gap Pants (after groovy Thing), the second set must have.
"Pants" should not be capitalized, while "groovy" should be.

Quote
A medely of Mccurdy songs, not songs, but good songs! Ending With "Mobile Home" last verse.
"medley" spelled incorrectly.  The second C in McCurdy should be capitalized.  "With" should not be capitalized.  However, even with these changes, I still wouldn't be able to understand this sentence.

Quote
Nice! This show I must say, if you missed it (we know who Luke is) you definetly missed a A++++++++ show.
Again, this sentence makes no sense.  Yes, we know who Luke is.  What does that have to do with whatever it is you're trying to say here?  By the way, "defiantly" is misspelled and it should be "missed AN A++++++++ show."

Quote
To hear "Empty (nowhere) Man" was a treat! And by the way, Even with the Mics off, "Heatwave" was still played and sung well! It was a night of great 60's cover tunes
"Even" and "Mics" should not be capitalized.  If you must put and apostrophe in "60s" put in front.  It never goes before the S.  Also, you're missing a period.

"Camcorder" is misspelled, as is "yeah," unless you're at the Ren Fest.

In my first posting about this show there is one metion that must be said-------
"Mention" is misspelled.  Far too many dashes here.  Three, at the most, will do.

... And Thats our Leason fur tuday.

Speaking of apostrophes, a buddy at work (for Mr. Lippert, it was Don) is in a band and they're slogan thing on their business card was "Danceable music of the 80's 90's and today."  I couldn't help but laugh thinking about the guide to the apostrophe that Mark had up in his cube.  He he he.

Oh, and I spell checked so hopefully I won't get bashed too much. =)

Are you kidding????  Is this the Pat McCurdy message board or the message board for MENSA??  Are we doing this for a grade or to read what we may have missed at a Pat show??  Get back to the topic at hand-- Sounds like the Paragon show was a good one.  GREAT, GRAND, WONDERFUL--MOVE ON..

or if this is the case, then I suggest to you Mark to make a new section for discussion--Message Board Corrections.  It could be a new sound off for people to release the childish behavior of nit-picking--If that's not available, then may I suggest since people like music and grammer, to spend a night watching Schoolhouse Rock...

without bothering to get into the arguments of the fact you do not seem to have anything better to do, or, that you seem to care much too much about how something is said by the written word, I am sort of amazed that you did not capture the spirit and the meaning of what was written. However faulty the grammar may be...... Perhaps you should relax and enjoy life and the emotional content of things, rather than the structure and construction of it. Just a suggestion.

Oh, and please do correct this post to if you have nothing better to do......

My glass is raised to this idea, and I must admit I myself have enjoyed Schoolhouse Rock on certain occasions.

And it is Grammar, or Grandma, or "Gramma" for the friends from Compton.

This shows us this person, whom ever that may be................................... has not attended many shows lately, and that would be the reason they can not understand the sentence. It is not the fact the grammar is wrong, it is the fact this person does not see Pat McCurdy shows at venues where you need to pay the cover charge to attened.

I never spell check or grammar check here (as you most likely discovered), as it is just a message board and I personally am more iterested in what is said, rather than how it is said. Grammar is a purely American idea, however, I did not attened English Classes, thus my forgiveable "American Writing Impediment".

I could go on and on about the stupidity of all this grammar stuff, but lets hear some more reviews of the show which is the topic at hand.

Ahh, and what's even more funny?? ?The fact that I was trying to make a point and misspelled a word ABOUT the topic that I was trying to make a point for....

WOW!  I have been reading this board for a long time, and this is the first time, I have to speak.
WHAT IS WITH THE GRAMMAR GUY?  Get a life!! I am a teacher, and even I am not this anal. If you have something to say on the subject of Pat, do so, if not, Go Away!
By the way, I was at Paragon yesterday, and it was one of the most refreshing shows I have seen in a long time! Cheesy

Actually, I kind of have to side with our new friend Mr. Fett on this one.  I read many message boards and newsgroups on a daily basis and I have to say that 95% of the writing is atrocious.  Small wonder the US educational system is the laughing stock of the world.  However, I'm not the one who's going to play grammar police; it's not my place to do so.  I just wish people would remember at least half of what they learned about the English language during their twelve years of school.

Geez, most of Pat's fans (that I know of) seem to be college educated professional people, but you wouldn't know it by reading some of the stuff found here.   I don't do any sort of spell check on anything I post here and I do okay (unless Robert starts coming after me).  And yes, I'll be first to admit it's not completely perfect.  Even if I'm sending a quick email that one person will see, I still follow the basic rules; it's really not that hard.  You may not think it matters, but we all now know that there's at least one person who will read some of the stuff that you've written and consider you an ignorant boob.  Chances are it's not just one person.
