"That was a kick-ass version of "Substitute" by The Who."

Okay...now that that is over...the show was pretty good for being a Sunday and never being to a Paragon show before.  I heard a few songs that I had never heard before...and of course, #29 got her fair share of stardom by Pat.  There were a lot of regulars there...only missing one person (gee...who could that be?!)

Song highlights: the regular songs

Oh yeah...and for those of you who missed the show...Pat is taking a month off...for personal reasons and will not be playing for the rest of January.  WHAT WILL WE DO???

As Ted Theodore Logan would say.... "Woah!"  Great show and I can't believe Pat played Substitue.  That was the best thing I've ever heard.

That was totally a kickass version of "Substitute" from THE WHO!!  Kick ass!!!!

This show was great--not like a typical Paragon show at all.

Even heard  "I wanna Be somebody Else for a While." Kick ass, even though Pat couldn't remember the first verse. He was right though. He had the first verse right, but he thought it was wrong. I tried telling him it was the right verse--but he wanted to make sure!!   Wink  Hey hey for the birthday girl that then got the free CD.

Murf got his stardom tonight as well--but well deserved--he had many a fans there tonight. Great audience.

Oh and Jason (aka Summerfest Security guy--big ripped guy in the front)  you looked so great holding my drink with an umbrella!!   Grin

Sorry to those of you who missed it!!  Great show.

Ok. Now that I have woken up Wink
What a Kick ass Version of the Who's, "Substitute"! Cheesy
Seriously, this was one good show for Two Thousand Ott Two. I hope it is a sign of things to come.
I was discussing with Billy in the break room Wink how great that first set was (he was also still in shock, we could not even think of requests). There was a new song in the first set I could not identify. And all night Pat would start playing and you would think it was one song, turned out it was another. Forgot the lyrics to Somebody Else For A While, Some lucky Birthday girl got a free copy of S.O.M.  It was 38 Special, and No.29 night. In fact, I am pretty sure this is the most 38 Special I have heard in ten years. Murf and his Head East Rendition which is always a treat, and a Drive In Reverse Medley. Very awesome. It was a Jaw dropping show, but I have never seen a Paragon show that did not impress me.
I can't remember all the songs, but Drive In Reverse, Tough Life, Into Each Other, SUBSTITUTE!, Elvis Jokes, Ruin My Life, Might Stop Getting Stoned, New song For No. 29, Country No Doubt, Knock Things Over, there was actually alot of songs. Will have to wait for the set list. Props to Billy, Laurie, Kurt, and Sarah for the Hellos.....
