That depends. ?Does Pat get a guarantee or just what's collected at the door? ?If it's a guarantee and he likes playing there, it could last for years.
Not sure if that place is a guarantee or not--I would think so because if it's off of cover--it wouldn't be worth the drive out there. Just how many years you talkin?? =o)

Lots? He would get a guarantee at Trysting Place, but didn't like playing there and still ended up staying for several years. Every couple months he would tell me he was going to stop playing there and I would say, "Uh-huh, okay Pat." Guess he showed me.

I would be so disappointed if he stopped playing at the Branch Street. It's our twice montly fix of Madison Intimate Pat! I sure hope he gets a lump sum, and doesn't depend on cover charge. Wednesday night I saw only 15-20 people in the audience. There was a poster on the door that advertised dates he was playing there into December, so we're set for another month.
This show was one of the best Pat shows I've ever seen! Someone requested One Lie, and he played it. My gosh, that song was written back in 1982! It was fun to hear all the audience requests- some really unheard ones like Wonderland Of Love. Did anyone keep a set list?

That's the whole crappy part of those shows. I would love to go...but the whole driving back and forth from Milwaukee to Middleton. Oh I wish and long for the days when Pat had a regular weekly venue in our neck of the woods. But we go lax, and Pat got tired of nobody answering the GOD DAMNED phone.
HooooHuuumm!!!

Be in downtown Waukesha the evening of the 28th and make Billy drive you there. He's quite susceptible to the Jedi Mind Trick.

I will make the boring drive from Platteville to Middleton for the 28th, so that means that you guys can make the drive from Waukesha to Middleton...
Also, if you can make the drive to the SC Grand for Sat the 24th, then you can make it to Middleton.
