one we had once made a "Gin Gimlet" with Jim Beam
Then he/she was either incompetent, or full of shit, as it is
impossible[/i] to make a gin gimlet with Jim Beam, because, as you see children, Jim Beam...
IS NOT GIN!!!!!! A gimlet is either vodka or gin with a splash of lime juice. Nothing more nothing less. A vodka gimlet uses vodka, and a gin gimlet, well, I'm sure you all can figure this out without too much help. ?Since Jim Beam is, in fact, a bourbon, what you had was technically a bourbon gimlet, (if it was just Beam and lime juice) which may or may not be the correct name for the drink. I suggest calling it a ?"Briguy," which could be applied to any drink incorrectly labled. Like calling a Cape Cod a Seabreeze, for example.
