That I am!  Mark just gave me the good news.  I'm gonna run down to exclusive company this afternoon and pick it up.  Mark said that Pat probably won't have them for sale at the show for a couple months.  Hurry and get yours today!

Thanks Amy.  I'm still sitting here waiting until tonight so I can finally buy the thing.  There are some good songs on there that I've heard before and of course new ones that I've never heard yet.  I can't wait.  The anticipation is killing me.

AAAAHHHHHHHH!

I'll keep this short...

Probably the best studio work
since Big Bright..
My personal favorite cuts off the album are:
1]Antiques

2]In My Mind

3] When You Gonna Love Me

And Congrats to Mark...on being Liner Note Royalty!!
You were always nobility in my mind.

Wait a minute...it's his only studio work since Big Bright....  I suppose that goes along the lines of most people's opinion of "It's his best CD since his last one."  While it's good to be that consistant, it just make it harder to answer the question "What's your favorite Pat CD?"  That darn Pat.

This one has a lot of good semi-obscure songs (and if you know me, that's the type I love).  Some of my favorites are Can't You See that I'm in Love with You, Tough Life and Say Yeah.  Pat always seems to suprise me with they ways he arranges songs in the studio.  I get used to hearing them a certain way live, then he throws a curve ball with studio version.  It takes a little getting used to but so far, so good.  I've always been a sucker for good harmonies.  I'm especially digging the Beatles-esque sound of some of them, like Sun Rise and Little Pink Umbrella.

And it has songs he's never done live (that I've heard).  How cool is that?

I really what he did with the songs that I already knew before.  Antiques, Say Yeah, and When You Gonna Love me fit into this category.  As for the new ones, or at least ones that I never heard before, I still need to listen to them a little more.  But so far I really like Little Pink Umbrella.  Then there's Don't Wake Me Up and It's Not Worth It, which are new but I've been listening to them for a while.  I really like those to as well.

But I wouldn't say that this is my favorite CD yet.  Maybe it will reach that point eventually.  But right now it's kinda tied between Showtunes and Sound of Music.  Some songs get you the first time you hear them.  Others need to grow on you.  Given a little time, I think this CD will make it's way to #1.

How did everyone get the CD?  I went to the exclusive company and they said it was not available until Tuesday, the 30th.

Dave? Which exclusive co did you go too? The westside one didn't have it, only the state street one.

Finally got it!!!!  Just a word of warning for anyone else looking for the CD.  Best Buy as of this morning did not have the CD in stock.  Save yourself a trip (I didn't) and call ahead to see if it is there yet.

Listened to most of it, so far so good.  Still will take a few more listens for it to grow on you like Pat's older stuff....

Can't wait for PIP3, anyone hear any talk on when that one is coming out?

The new CD is fabulous!  It's is extremely Beatle-esque mixed with Pat's own artistic flavor.  I love a lot of these songs live, but now I think the CD versions are better.  It is now tied with my favorite Pat CD "The Sound of Music".
