It might just be one of those things where Pat decided to change the lyrics along the way.  I like the edited ones Lawson gave better, though.

I maybe wrong on this but I think i've actually heard both versions: the one with alleviates my gloom was the way he played it in the last intimate pat show (and i think is the correct one). But some other time he did the way is written there (maybe the version on pat radio but i'm not positive).

Speaking of mistakes ,I already have discovered some in the tabs I've made, but since there's no way to correct them I don't care that much. Plus someone who knows music will probably tell that I'm tone deaf and my guesses of chords are not always correct
