And then I remember IE first coming out and it blew. It was so horrible for awhile on the PC. The Mac version when that was released we all thought was pretty sweet. And then somewhere along the line, netscape lost it's appeal and IE became my favorite browser.
When IE 2 came out for the Mac, it wasn't as bad as the Windows version, but it was lacking - no frames for one thing (which was a BIG deal back then). I used Netscape up through 3.x, but when IE 3 came out for the Mac, I jumped over. Much nicer in general than Netscape. That's not to say it wasn't flakey (it was, very much so), but...
Mozilla seems like it could be nice, but right now it's just too sluggish for me, at least on the Mac. Rendering is fast but general response is very slow. It does seem better on Linux, though. Hmm...I really need to install Linux here.
