I heard on the radio today that the new Fleetwood Mac single "Peacekeeper" is a direct ripoff of Paul Simon's "Kodachrome" and infact they overlayed the two together with even mixing and indeed they were the same song.

Anyone else hear the simmilarity and/or have a comment on a great 70's classic band ripping off a great folk song writer for lack of original ideas?

That's so funny---as I'm stuck with only one radio station at work--I happen to hear that new song quite a bit, and I was thinking the same exact thing!

Ya, the new stuff doesn't sound at all like the classic Mac sound that I liked...

I had a friend in the car and "Peacekeeper" came on the radio, and he started singing "Give us the night's bright colors"; he was drunk, and I was giving him a ride home from the bar, but yeah, it's pretty clear it sounds like it.
