I am in search of any radio station that plays Big Band music (music from the 40's).  After an extensive search on the internet and talking w/ Briguy, I came to only 1 station that may play Big Band music: WMSE (MSOE's radio station), but they play in soo many segments that you just have to keep tuning in and hope you tune in at the correct time.

Anyone know of a radio station that plays Big Band music - of if they do for a certain time, what that time is?

WMSE, Sundays, 9am - noon.  Allow me to direct you to their web site at http://www.wmse.org for their complete schedule.  (Hint: it's the link called "Schedule")

There are a couple other shows that may or may not feature Big Band, but as you mentioned, the station is quite (wonderfully) schizopherenic.  If you're unsure, they archive every show of the last six to eight months for your sampling pleasure.

What did you google for?  When I searched for "wmse" it was the number one result.
